VocoVision connects certified school psychologists with students across New Mexico through our innovative virtual platform. We're seeking a licensed school psychologist to provide comprehensive psychological services to students in a remote capacity, delivering assessments, interventions, and support that make a meaningful difference in students' academic and social-emotional development.
Position Overview
This remote school psychologist role involves serving approximately 45-55 students across elementary and middle school grade levels. You'll work 36 hours per week providing virtual psychological services including comprehensive evaluations, crisis intervention support, consultation with educators and families, and behavioral intervention planning. Our platform enables you to conduct assessments, hold counseling sessions, participate in IEP meetings, and collaborate with multidisciplinary teamsall from your home office.
Core Responsibilities
Your day-to-day work will include conducting psychoeducational assessments using virtual testing protocols, developing behavior intervention plans, providing individual and group counseling services, consulting with teachers and parents about student needs, participating in multi-tiered systems of support, monitoring student progress toward IEP goals, maintaining comprehensive documentation, and serving as a resource for mental health and learning concerns. You'll also contribute to school-wide initiatives focused on student wellness and academic success.
Required Qualifications
- Active New Mexico school psychologist licensure
- Master's degree in School Psychology or related field
- Minimum 2 years of experience working in school settings
- Strong knowledge of special education law and IEP processes
- Experience with virtual service delivery or willingness to adapt quickly
- Proficiency with digital assessment tools and video conferencing platforms
- Excellent written and verbal communication skills
- Ability to work independently while maintaining strong team connections
Technical Requirements
Reliable high-speed internet connection, professional workspace for conducting confidential sessions, computer with webcam and microphone, and comfort using educational technology platforms for service delivery and documentation.
